Local Living Festival Gathering
On Wednesday, February 27, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the public is invited to join the Local Living Venture in putting together the third Local Living Festival to be held all day on April 27th in Canton, NY. Many displays, demonstrations and vendors are planned for the Festival, along with over 30 workshops on rural skills and resourceful, simple living concepts.
The planning gathering will be held at the Festival site, the Cornell Cooperative Extension Learning Farm at 2043 SH 68, 2.3 miles from Rt. 11 near Canton, NY. All potential volunteers are welcome to learn more about how to help the Local Living Venture to put on this fun and educational event, held every eighteen months. Many fun projects need the special attention only a dedicated volunteer can provide. For more information please email or call (315) 347-4223, LocalLivingVenture@gmail.com.
