At the midway point in the freezin' season - just when you need a little break - the Adirondack Museum is excited to offer FrostFest, a series of indoor and outdoor programs, exhibitions, special deals, free coffee, and more . . . all designed to heat up your body, mind, and spirit.
FrostFest family fun will feature FREE, indoor, winter-themed activities like making 3-D paper snowflakes, creating miniature snow forts and ice castles, take a family photo inside a life-sized snow globe, browse and learn more about winter, snow, and ice in our "fireside" reading nook, and more.
Weather permitting, FREE outdoor FrostFest activities will include opportunities to tramp around the museum campus in snowshoes; build snow people, snow creatures, snow cities, or whatever the imagination can dream; explore the grounds with a family-oriented, winter-themed scavenger hunt; look for animal tracks in the snow, and more.
More than 40,000 square feet of museum exhibitions will also be open at NO CHARGE during FrostFest.
