The superb and renowned violist Patricia McCarty, who now claims the Adirondacks as home, has a return engagement making this the third annual event, highly anticipated by all who have heard her in the past two seasons. Her well-matched music mates will be Arturo Delmoni, violin, and Ronald Thomas, cello for a program of Mozart’s Divertimento in Eb Major, K563; Beethoven’s Trio in C Minor, Op. 9, No. 3; and Dohnanyi’s Serenade, Op. 10 in C Major. This is guaranteed to be an intense and exciting program with BIG playing – these guys are at the top of their game!
All three artists have performed as featured soloists and members of major orchestras and chamber music ensembles on the world’s important stages and on the recordings of major labels. Patricia McCarty now teaches viola at the Meadowmount School of Music and coordinates and coaches their chamber music program. Arturo Delmoni is Concertmaster of the New York City Ballet Orchestra and teaches at New York University.
