Open Easel is often described as a visual version of an open mic night. This is a chance for artists of all ages and levels of experience to show their artwork in a relaxed, informal setting. Work may be finished or in progress, and does not have to be framed. This is a wonderful opportunity to get feedback on your work and meet other artists. David Hejna of Paul Smiths says, "Being able to hear other artists perspectives has really helped me develop and improve my own artwork." You do not have to bring work to participate, just come and enjoy! Bring your beverage of choice, a variety of snacks will be provided. The evening will begin with an introduction of artists and presentation of work with time for feedback and critique. This will be followed by social time.
