Successful composers sometimes find themselves facing a change in their outlook, whether due to success, high expectations or simply a changing world. This often results in their music hitting the proverbial "fork in the road" where a decision is made to keep their music as it is, or undergo an overhaul in thought to reflect the times and reality. We explore these dilemmas with composers who grapple with new ideas that in turn inspired others to take their lead.
