Come to the VIC on 17 May for a training workshop which will provide the tools and information needed to participate in the new Adirondack wetland monitoring program. This workshop, which runs from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, will focus on birds and plants. We will begin with an overview of the wetland monitoring project and then proceed with hands-on instruction in field techniques used to record phenological data for wetland birds and plants. Trained participants will be able to enroll in the long-term monitoring program committed to improving our understanding of Adirondack wetlands and conserving these unique places for future generations.
