Saturday, February, 23rd from 7-10pm
The NCCCA Arts Center is excited to announce a date for“Cabin Fever Beach Party,” a fun-filled evening with food, friends and dancing to support the arts. The event will take place at the historic Strand Theatre adjacent to the NCCCA Arts Center on Brinkerhoff Street and all proceeds will benefit the NCCCA.
Tickets are $100 and each ticket allows two people into the party. Costs include food, open bar, great music and a chance to win several beach-themed prizes and one grand prize of $500 in cash. Other prizes include “sun baskets” and a prize for the best costume which will be given away throughout the evening. In addition, Overtime Photography will be on hand with its signature Photo Booth to capture the evening’s festivities.
“Cabin Fever Beach Party is the party of the year,” says Leigh Mundy, NCCCA Board President. “It’s the perfect event to get together with friends, dress down in your beachwear and forget about the cold weather.” Mundy continues, “It’s also one of the last times people will be able to spread out and enjoy the floor space in the auditorium before the seats are installed. We hope people will come out and see the beautiful theatre and get used to regular performances and events taking place there.”
“This is the perfect winter event for a couple, a couple of friends or a large group of friends and co-workers,” says Janine Scherline, NCCCA Executive Director. “The food is great, the DJ gets everyone dancing and the Photo Booth itself is worth the price of admission.” Scherline continues by saying, “A good time was truly‘had by all’ last year. Being in the Strand this year and being surrounded by its charm, and the excitement of what is to come in that space, is sure to create good memories that will last a long time to come.”
